6 Kg ABC Dry Powder Fire Extinguisher

Overview

When a fire moves beyond the incipient stage, seconds of extra discharge make the difference between control and catastrophe. The 6 Kg ABC Dry Powder Fire Extinguisher gives you that margin. With fifty percent more agent than the standard 4 kg unit, it sustains a longer, stronger discharge, letting the operator attack the base of the flames thoroughly and deal with re-ignition spots without the cylinder running dry at the worst moment.

Like all ABC units, it uses versatile dry chemical powder effective on Class A fires (wood, paper, cloth, furnishings), Class B fires (petrol, diesel, oils, solvents) and Class C fires including live electrical equipment. That breadth matters in mixed-risk premises: a restaurant has cooking fuels plus electrical loads, a workshop has timber plus solvents, a school has paper stores plus laboratories. One extinguisher type covering all three classes simplifies training, because staff only need to learn one PASS technique for every unit on the wall.

Where to Use It

The 6 kg ABC is well matched to restaurants and commercial kitchens with storage areas, automobile workshops, furniture and carpentry units, schools and colleges, mid-size warehouses, banquet halls and small factories. Safety officers often place 6 kg units at higher-risk points, such as near fuel stores or electrical main panels, while using 4 kg units along general escape routes. It is also a strong choice for petrol pump offices, cold storages and agricultural processing sheds.
